After installation of Quick Heal you will need to register your copy to activate it. You should Register and Activate your copy immediately after installation, as without Activation Quick Heal cannot be updated. Registered users can get other benefits like technical support and messenger service. If Quick Heal is not registered within 20 days time period from the date of installation, your copy of Quick Heal will expire and will be considered as void.

If due to any reason you need to reinstall your operating system or Quick Heal, it is necessary to reactivate your copy after reinstallation.
Reactivation of Quick Heal can be done through following process:

Your Serial Number of Quick Heal is your Customer ID or Customer Reference Number. Please do mention your Serial Number in every communication with Quick Heal Team. |

Serial Number and Activation Number will serve as the users Identity. In case you loose Serial Number or Activation Number, you can obtain your Serial Number or Activation Number by contacting
Quick Heal Technical Support by paying nominal charges. |

You can use registered copy till the subscription period of your Quick Heal copy. After the subscription period is over you will need to renew the subscription for your copy of Quick Heal.

All updates and upgrades are free for registered user till the subscription period of the copy. |

Serial Number and Activation Number can be obtained from About Quick Heal. About Quick Heal can be accessed from Quick Heal Integrated Scanner, Help menu. This module also contains Version, Virus Database and Subscription validity information. |

Installation Number is available in Offline Registration section of Quick Heal Registration Wizard, if you choose ‘No’ to ‘I have Internet access on this computer’ and click Next. Choose Offline registration through web and click ‘Next’. Here you will get the installation number of Quick Heal
Quick Heal Registration Wizard will be initiated automatically at every boot until the copy gets activated. Click ‘Next’ to proceed with Registration Wizard. To manually launch Registration Wizard click Start and then point to Programs, Quick Heal Group, Quick Heal. |

Registration wizard does not accept invalid serial number. To avoid such messages please type serial number as it as provided to you in the registration wizard. |

This prompt can come if previously obtained License. key file is being used to reactivate Quick Heal. In case if you have reinstalled Quick Heal then you have to apply new License. Key by reactivating your copy of Quick Heal.

This problem may arise if you are using a “proxy server" or "Socks Version 4 & 5” on your network then you have to configure “Internet Settings” of the registration wizard.
This problem may also arise if you or your ISP is using Firewall. Firewall should be configured to allow Registration Wizard to get Internet access.
In case the above problem remains as it is even after following the above step then we will recommend you to contact Quick Heal Technical Support Team. In the mean time you can also register/activate your copy of Quick Heal by Offline or Phone registration.

If you are "using a proxy server" or "using Socks Version 4 & 5” on your network. You need to configure “Internet Settings” of Registration Wizard to get Internet access.
Please follow the below given steps to configure Internet Settings:
In Registration Wizard, select ‘Yes’ to “I have Internet access on this computer” and click on “Internet Settings”.
Under Proxy Settings, select the Use proxy check box.
Choose HTTP Proxy, Socks V 4 or SOCKS V 5 as per your settings and then do the following.
In Server, type IP address of the proxy server or domain name (e.g., proxy.yourcompany.com).
In Port, type the port number of the proxy server (e.g., 80).
In User name and Password, type your server logon credentials.
Click OK.
Click Apply. |
